While many puzzle rhythm games distract the player with visual flair and roleplaying elements, Piano Tiles 2 refreshingly brings things back to basics. Staying in rhythm is a simple affair of taps and slides of your finger, and the engine in place never stutters or catches. Skill is the sole determinant factor in place here, and the slick if minimalist menu design makes it easy to find the songs you're looking for.

You won't find a rich list of Pop 40 hits in Piano Tiles 2, but that's part of its appeal. A huge library of classical songs are available for players out of the box, and the breadth is surprisingly deep.
